9/10/16: La Crosse, WI- The Root Note. It was great to come back to the root note, especially on a weekend. La Crosse is one of my favorite Wisconsin towns we have been to, and I love the downtown area. The root note is a combination of a venue, a coffee shop, a bar, and a crepe stand. We had a lot of fun tonight and were so excited to have a good crowd which included friends we had made a few weeks back at Porkies fest in the UP as well as people we had met last time we played La Crosse who brought their friends. The show was a great time and afterwards we made the late night drive to Aimes to stay with our friend Haley.. We were excited to be playing a Sunday afternoon show tomorrow.
