7/28/16: Ithaca, NY- The Dock. We started out our day here in Ithaca at WVBR for an interview to promote tonight’s show. After the interview and a play through of some songs we headed just outside of town to Butterfield falls. We have hiked all over the country, from Seattle and Oregon to Colorado and Virginia. I have to say this may have been my favorite hike we have done. The way that the stream wore down the rock walls to its many layers and created small waterfalls was absolutely stunning. While we were on the trail someone had recognized us from one of our January NY shows! After hiking we made our way to The Dock, where we would be playing later that night. We had the Ryan Taylor band supporting us, a group we had met back in January when we popped into an open mic in Ft. Lauderdale. It was cool getting to see those guys again. We had a fun show and the late crowd was ready to dance. We have been seeing people singing along at every one of our shows on this tour and tonight was no exception! After the show we drove to a local RV campground which was carved into a forest. We would head to Saratoga Springs tomorrow but enjoyed some time relaxing in the woods tonight.
