7/17/16: Midlothian, VA- Charter House Concert (O’boyle/ Raney Concert Series) Sold out! This past November we played here in Midlothian, VA for the first time at the Charter House Concert series. We didn’t know what to expect and were thrilled with the tremendous response we had received by such an excellent crowd. The O’boyle/ Raney concert series is put on by Gene, Dale, Lou and Ernie, and they bring incredible bands from all over the country to play. We were humbled to find out that not only was this concert sold out, but we were the first band in the concert series to ever be asked to play a second show. This second show was one I had been looking forward to for a long time and it was a ton of fun. After a great evening concert we headed back to Gene and Dale’s. Our bus was having a great deal of difficulty the past few days and we had to take it in to change the fuel pump. Gene and Dale graciously offered to put us up at their house for the next few days, and we were excited to get to spend some time with them. Gene even helped us to set up a concert tomorrow at Plan 9, the local Richmond record store!
