2/9/17: Winnsboro, TX- The Bowery Stage: We spent our day and a half off at John’s uncle Steve’s place in Dallas and enjoyed eating some good home cooked food, writing new songs and jamming on the back porch in the beautiful weather. We headed out to Winnsboro to play a show at a venue that used to be a brothel in the 1900s. We had a great time and I love the energy we got from the people here in Texas. After a fun show we made our way next door where we had a full pizza dinner waiting for us. I ate more wings than I ever have in my life. After dinner we made our way to the bed and breakfast a few blocks away where we were being put up. All five of us stayed up late hanging in one of the rooms. I feel really lucky to be in a band with a bunch of guys who enjoy spending time with each-other off stage as much as on. I woke up early with Austin and Collin for breakfast before we set off to our next Texas show.
